The pandemic may have delayed the premiere of many of The CW’s shows, but Superman & Lois is still part of a packed 2021 lineup.
Despite the ongoing pandemic, The CW was able to get all of its Arrowverse productions back on track, setting 2021 premiere dates for each series. One such show that is set to premiere next year is the universe’s newest entry, Superman & Lois, starring Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch as the Man of Steel and DC’s most intrepid reporter, respectively.
Part of a packed lineup, Superman & Lois will air its first episode on Tuesday, February 23 at 9:00 pm EST, right after The Flash concludes its Season 7 premiere.

Just before the airing of the “Crisis On Infinite Earths” crossover, The CW announced it was putting a show in development that would focus on the Arrowverse’s version of Superman and his partner, Lois Lane. Produced by Todd Helbing, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schecter and Geoff Johns, the show was ordered straight-to-series in January 2020.
The crossover then saw major changes for the Man of Steel when the Anti-Monitor’s antimatter wave destroyed Argo, where he was living with Lois and his baby, Jonothan. Only escaping with the help of Harbinger, Superman and Lois then went on a journey to find the seven Paragons that could save the universe. However, the duo was killed when the antimatter wave overtook Earth-One, leaving the universe in the hands of the Paragons. After Oliver Queen reset the universe, Clark and Lois returned to find their world merged with Earth-One and that they now have two teenage sons.
Picking up after the events of “Crisis,” Superman & Lois will follow the journies of Clark Kent and Lois Lane as they try to save the world and navigate being parents to their boys, Jonathan and Jordan. It won’t be easy for the family, however, as a new threat, known only as “The Stranger” (Wolé Parks), is coming to prove that the world no longer needs Superman.
In addition to Clark and Lois, the show will also feature other prominent characters from the Superman mythos, including Samuel Lane (Dylan Walsh) and Lana Lang (Emmanuelle Chriqui). With Supergirl now entering its final season, The CW will be leaning on its newest show to keep the allure of one of its biggest heroes alive.
Debuting in January 2021, Superman & Lois stars Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Dylan Walsh, Alex Garfin, Jordan Elsass, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Inde Navarrette and Wolé Parks.
