In a new drawing by DC Comics Publisher Jim Lee for The Batman, Robert Pattinson’s version of the hero is shown brooding in the rain.
Shared on Instagram, Lee’s black-and-white drawing showed Pattinson’s Dark Knight standing in the rain. The costume he is wearing is the same one shown in The Batman trailer, which released at DC FanDome earlier this year. Additionally, Lee captioned the image with, “Is 2020 over yet?”
Matt Reeves’ upcoming The Batman stars The Lighthouse‘s Robert Pattinson as a young version of Bruce Wayne. The film is said to take place during the crime fighter’s second year as Batman and will introduce several popular characters from the comics, including Catwoman/Selina Kyle, The Riddler, The Penguin and more.

Recently, The Batman restarted filming after being delayed several times due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic with one delay caused by Pattinson himself testing positive for the virus. Filming has taken place in several UK cities, including Liverpool and Glasgow, as well as in parts of Chicago.
Jim Lee is currently serving as the Publisher and Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics. He is known throughout the industry as an artist who has worked on a multitude of popular series, including Batman, Detective Comics, X-Men and much more.

The film arrives in theaters March 4, 2022.
