Warner Bros. Television and The CW have decided to pass on Green Arrow and the Canaries, a spinoff of the recently-concluded Arrow DC series.
The CW’s Arrow spinoff, Green Arrow and the Canaries, will not be moving forward at the network.
According to Deadline, Warner Bros. Television considered airing Green Arrow and the Canaries and a prequel to The 100 on The CW and HBO Max. While that appears to be off the table for Green Arrow and the Canaries, it is still a possibility for The 100 spinoff.
“They are very much in active discussions to see what we can do,” The CW President Mark Pedowitz said about Green Arrow and the Canaries and The 100 prequel in May. “I’ve had many discussions with Warner Bros, we have a strategy involved — hopefully we can pull it off.”
