A new Wonder Woman image from Zack Snyder’s Justice League features Diana Prince in her civilian attire, as seen on an IMAX screen.
Zack Snyder shared a new image of Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince/Wonder Woman from Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
The image, shot at an IMAX theater, sees Diana standing in the threshold of a massive stone structure while sporting civilian attire. Based on the setting and clothing, this appears to precede the scene Snyder teased in June 2020 that saw Diana discovering a tapestry featuring the villainous Darkseid.
While Darkseid was long envisioned as the primary foe of Snyder’s DC Extended Universe, he didn’t appear in the Justice League theatrical cut. Instead, the primary antagonist was Steppenwolf, who was introduced in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Notably, Steppenwolf is Darkseid’s uncle and the general of the Apokoliptian army. Darkseid, meanwhile, is the tyrannical leader of Apokolips and was only mentioned by name a single time in Justice League. As for DeSaad, he’s Darkseid’s master torturer and has yet to factor into the DCEU but will similarly make his debut in the Snyder Cut.
